Meetup Description: If you're not heading out of town but don't want to deal with crowds down on the Mall, come and grab some grub and a game of "Oh, Hell!", then at 9 pm we will walk over to my apartment building roofdeck where you will have a somewhat obscured but still thrilling view of the National Fireworks! Yes, depending on exactly where they set them off, you may be able to see anywhere between 50% to 100% of the actual display! And then you can see distant fireworks in Maryland and Virginia--all for free!!!!


NOTE on accessibility:
You will have to climb some stairs to get to my roofdeck.


NOTE on transportation:
There usually IS parking available in Dupont Circle on July 4th weekend (lots of people go out of town), but I would still caution against driving in from the suburbs since traffic might be fairly heavy depending on your timing. My place is just two blocks away from D.C. Bread and Brew.

NOTE on weather:
If weather preempts the fireworks, we will just stay at DC Bread & Brew!
